📄️ Tracking location history
You can set up your own location tracking system using combination of Dawarich and Overland, OwnTracks or GPSLogger. Refer to Track your location tutorial for more information on how to set up your own location tracking system. When a mobile application (Overland or OwnTracks) is set up to send data to Dawarich, you can see your location history on the map, as well as in the form of points and routes.
📄️ Map
The Map page provides interactive visualizations of your location data. You can view points, routes, heatmaps, and various other layers to explore your travel history.
📄️ Stats
The Stats page provides a summary of your location data including distance traveled, countries visited, cities visited, and points recorded over different time periods.
📄️ Imports
The Imports page displays all your data imports including the number of points imported and timestamp. You can manage individual imports and create new ones.
📄️ Exports
Exports page features a list of your exports. For each export, you can see the name, status, and the time of the export. When exporting process is finished, you'll see a download link.
📄️ Points
Points page features a list of your points. You can search for points providing a time range, export them to a JSON file, and delete them. To export points, select the time range, click "Search", and then click the "Export" button. Export will be done in background and you can find the result on the Exports page.
📄️ Areas
If you're frequently visiting the same area, you can create an area in Dawrich and it will be shown on the map. The main purpose of areas is to help you track your visits to the same area. Every day at midnight, Dawrich will check if you've visited the area today and if you have, it will suggest a visit to the area in the Visits page.
📄️ Trips
You can create trips by clicking on the "Create trip" button in the navigation. Provide a name, dates and notes for your trip and click "Create".
📄️ Visits and Places
The "Visits and Places" feature tracks your visits to locations to build a comprehensive picture of your daily activities and travel history.
📄️ Photos
If you're an Immich or a Photoprism user, you can configure an integration for those services with Dawarich.
📄️ Insights
The Insights page provides a comprehensive dashboard for analyzing your location history data. It offers visualizations, statistics, and patterns to help you understand your movement habits and travel behaviors over time.
📄️ Family Location Sharing
The Family feature allows you to share your real-time location with trusted family members and friends. This enables you to see each other's locations on the map while maintaining full control over your privacy.
📄️ Transportation Modes
Dawarich can automatically detect and classify your transportation modes based on speed and movement patterns. This feature helps you understand how you travel and provides detailed breakdowns of your activity.
📄️ Place Search
The Search feature allows you to find places on the map and view your visit history for those locations. You can search for any location and see when you've visited it, then optionally create visit records from the search results.
